Welcome and Orientation Ceremony 2019-20 to the students of GUTS on 1st August, 2019

The new batch of students for the courses of PG Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Certificate Course in Dialysis Technology, Masters in Physiotherapy (Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Transplantation Rehabilitation), Fellowship in Liver Transplantation Anesthesia and Critical Care and Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology joined their respective courses in the various constituent colleges of the University on 1st August, 2019.

The ceremony began with prayers to Lord Ganesha and Goddess of Vidya Sharda by Ms. Alpita Rathod from the department of Pathology, Lab Medicine, Transfusion Services and Immunohematology. The program was conducted by Shree Madhav Ramanuj, the well-known literature master and poet of Gujarat, who is also the member of the Board of Governors of the University. Dean of IKDRC-ITS Prof. Pankaj Shah, Director of IKDRC-ITS Prof. Vineet Mishra and I/C Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. A.V. Vanikar addressed the students and welcomed them. The students were encouraged and stimulated to learn and make the best while they are in the university and make themselves and the university proud with the conduct, discipline and eagerness to learn and also enjoy the process of learning. All the teachers and staff involved in training the students from different disciplines attended the function which was followed by “chai with students”.
